Shreveport police officer placed on leave

    Shreveport Police Chief Willie Shaw placed a police officer on administrative leave this afternoon after an allegation of possible policy violations.

   Officer Adrianne Ferguson, hired by the department in February of 2007, was placed on paid administrative leave by Chief Shaw pending an internal investigation into alleged policy violations. Chief Shaw has ordered a criminal investigation into the matter as well.
