Body Found In Texarkana

Authorities in Texarkana, Arkansas are investigating a dead body found in a building.

Officers discovered the body of a middle-aged white man in a vacant building Wednesday afternoon, along the 200 block of east 7th street. 

The body is being sent to the state crime lab for autospy.

The cause of death could be known as early as this week.

Until the results are released, authorities will treat the case as it would a murder.

The dead man is believed to be homeless.
