Two Bossier men arrested on sundry drug charges

Two Bossier men arrested Tuesday night on various drug charges, according to Bossier Parish Sheriff Larry Deen.

Marcus Andrew Keller, 25, of the 4800 block of East Texas, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a legend drug and improper lane use.  Jerry Wayne Haynes, 23, also of the 4800 block of East Texas, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The two men were taken into custody after a Bossier Sheriff’s deputy saw a vehicle being driven by Keller cross the center line on East Texas twice.  After receiving verbal consent to search the vehicle, deputies found two used syringes inside the center console and one unused syringe.

One of the syringes had liquid inside and Keller told deputies the liquid was cocaine.  A bag of marijuana roaches was found, along with three different types of pills, which were identified as legend drugs.

Keller also told deputies he had marijuana at his house, so the deputies and Keller relocated to Keller’s residence.  In addition, Keller told deputies his roommate, Haynes, knew about the marijuana.

Haynes was called and asked to come back to his house, and in Haynes’ room deputies found a bag of white powder cocaine.  Elsewhere in the house, deputies found rolling papers, a cigar, loose marijuana and a marijuana grinder.

Keller and Haynes were transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked.  Their bonds are pending.
