“The arrest of Rick Seaton represents the next step of what will be a long and arduous process for all involved. I want to commend the men and women of the Shreveport Police Department and the Caddo Parish District Attorney's Office for the professional manner in which they have conducted this investigation thus far. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the alleged victim and her family, as well as to Mr. Seaton and his family. The ultimate hope is for the full truth to be known and for justice to be served.”
