Bossier Parish man busted for fireworks theft in Shreveport

A Bossier Parish man has been arrested by patrol officers after a security guard witnessed him stealing fireworks from a west
At approximately 1:40 a.m. Sunday, Shreveport Police officers responded to a call from a security guard working at a fireworks tent in the 3800 block of Jewella Ave. reporting that a male suspect had been seen cutting a hole in the fence surrounding the tent.
The guard was able to maintain surveillance on the man until officers arrived on scene and took the suspected burglar into custody without incident.
Officers ultimately were able to locate about $180 worth of fireworks that the suspect had stolen. The suspect, identified as 42 year old George Walker, Jr. of the 200 block of
