A two vehicle crash on North Lakeshore Drive this afternoon resulted in four people being transported to area hospitals, according to Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator.

The accident occurred just after noon at the 6500 block of North Lakeshore Drive. According to witnesses, a northbound Ford F150 pickup driven by Jeremy Lee Lindsay, 32, veered into the southbound lane and collided head on into a 2010 Toyota Corolla driven by Miranda Stewart, 18.

Once at the scene, Caddo Sheriff’s Patrol Deputy Jessica Benevage found a 2002 Ford F150 pickup driven by Jeremy Lee Lindsay, 32, and a 2010 Toyota Corolla driven by Miranda Stewart, 18, both of Shreveport in the ditch off the roadway.

Caddo Fire District #1 responded to the scene and treated all involved. Miranda Stewart and the two passengers in the Toyota were transported by ambulance to Willis-Knighton Bossier for non-life threatening injuries.

Lindsay, who told deputies he blacked out behind the wheel, was transported to the V.A. Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies said Lindsay was cited for Driving under Suspension, and Driving Left of Center.
