Southeast Shreveport bank robber

    Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a southeast Shreveport bank this morning.

    Just moments before 9:30 a.m. this morning, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to the Chase Bank in the 300 block of East 70th Street relative to a robbery.

    Upon arrival, officers learned that a male suspect armed with a handgun entered the bank and demanded money from one of the tellers there at gunpoint. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and subsequently fled the scene. No one was injured during this robbery.

   Police investigators are now asking for the public’s help in identifying and apprehending this bank bandit. He is described as a black male about five feet 11 inches tall with a slender build. He was wearing dark colored clothing, including a dark hoodie and his face was concealed by a black mask of some sort. Please see surveillance photos of the suspect attached to this release.
