By: Nancy Cook
Updated: December 13, 2010

At the request of the family of Penny Madanat, the Bossier City Police Department is again releasing information about her case to the media in hopes of locating her.

Penny Madanat of Bossier City was last seen leaving Cowboys (now Rockin' Rodeo) nightclub on Gould Drive on October 26, 1991. She was 23 years old at the time of her disappearance. She’s a white female, 5’7” 128 pounds with auburn hair and blue eyes. She wore braces on her teeth and had a birthmark on her left arm and a small mole above her lip on right side.

Police suspect her disappearance may have been the result of foul play;  however many unanswered questions remain surrounding her case. By publicizing the case again police hope it may result in someone stepping forward with information about her disappearance.

Anyone with information is asked to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at (318) 424-4100.  They can also submit a web or text tip via the Bossier Crime Stoppers website – www.bossiercrimestoppers.org.  Persons who contact Crime Stoppers are reminded they may remain totally anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to a $1,000.
