A Springhill man was arrested Friday for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor, according to Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen.
Jakey Ray Marniez, 35, of the 200 block of Forest Street, was taken into custody after Bossier Sheriff’s deputies arrived to serve a warrant on another person. When they patted Marniez down and searched the area around him, they found a small baggie and a syringe on the couch where he was sitting. There were also three small children sitting on the floor next to the couch.
Marniez was transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. His bond was set at $11,000.
