Walker man wins lottery

BATON ROUGE – Chet Bourg of Walker, LA was the sole winner of the $250,000 Lotto jackpot from the Nov. 20 drawing.   


Bourg purchased his winning ticket from Murphy USA #8500 on Walker South Road in Walker.  The retailer will receive a one-time selling bonus of $2,500, or one percent of the jackpot prize, for selling Bourg his winning ticket.


Bourg, age 46, received $175,000 after state and federal taxes were withheld.


The winning numbers for the Nov. 20 Lotto drawing were 03-05-20-35-36-37.


Ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age. The Lottery encourages anyone who may have a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll free 1-877-770-7867 for help.


For security purposes, the Lottery strongly encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing.  More information about other Lotto winners can be found in the “Meet Our Winners” section of the Lottery’s website, www.louisianalottery.com.
