ShaVonne Herndon - Reporter

ShaVonne Herndon joined NBC 6 as a reporter in October 2010. It was a short move for Shavonne, who spent the previous two years as a reporter in the Tyler-Longview area.
Shavonne is a native of Houston, with a degree in broadcast journalism from Abilene Christian University. While at ACU she won several awards in radio and television from news to sports. During her time at ACU she also interned at KTRK in Houston.
At NBC 6 Shavonne covers the East Texas portion of the ArkLaTex. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. ShaVonne Herndon joined NBC 6 as a reporter in October 2010.
