Synthetic pot, along with accessories, was being offered for sale at a popular local clothing store until Wednesday morning, according to the Bossier Parish Sheriff Larry Deen.
“Wild,” a retail store in Pierre Bossier Mall, was stocking the substance T.H.C. (the psychoactive substance found in the cannabis plant), behind the counter, along with grinders, smoking devices and digital scales used in the consumption and/or sale of illegal narcotics.
Finding the drugs and was lagniappe, so to speak, as Sung Kil Kwak, 39, of the 500 block of Demery, was taken into custody after Bossier Sheriff’s investigators determined he possessed numerous items of counterfeit trademark clothing for retail sale. Some of the counterfeit clothing included Baby Phat, Rocawear and Orange County Choppers.
Charges against Kwak included illegal use of a counterfeit trademark, money laundering, possession of synthetic T.H.C. and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kwak was transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. His bond was set at $40,500.
