2 Injured, 1 Arrested After North Market St. Crash

Two people are in the hospital and one was in jail Wednesday morning following a 3 car wreck on North Market. The accident happened shortly before 11:00 PM, when a car driven by Bruce Devereaux, Black Male DOB 3-23-1963, ran into the back of a Jaguar sending the Jag into a Monte Carlo. Devereauxs Mazda traveled another 50 yards before stopping in the north bound lanes of North Market, just north of Free State. The female driver of the Jaguar and a passenger in the back seat of the Jaguar were transported to LSUHSC as a precaution. Devereaux was taken to the police station and then booked into the city jail, shortly after 1:00 AM on a charge of DWI 1st offense.
