SHREVEPORT TV BLACKOUT DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR SAINTS-COWBOYS GAME

The NFL will be granting the team a 24-hour extension tonight in order to sellout Monday`s Saints-Cowboys game and lift the NFL-imposed blackout rule in the Shreveport area. The extension starts at 7 pm CT tonight and the new deadline will now be 7 pm CT on Saturday, August 19. In response to the extension, the Saints will have ticket offices staffed until 6 pm tonight, 8:30 am-5:00 pm tomorrow (Saturday) and 12:00-5:00 pm (Sunday). To purchase tickets, please call 1-800-877-0898 or visit the Saints official website at www.NewOrleansSaints.com. As of 5 pm CT today, 41,000 tickets have been sold for the game with 8,000 remaining.
