SHREVEPORT-Centenary mens basketball coach Rob Flaska inked the final player of his 2006-07 recruiting class on Tuesday with the signing of Iman Shokouhizadeh. The sharp-shooting combo man comes to Centenary from Moberly Junior College in Missouri. Flaskas roster now stands at 13 players comprised of six newcomers and seven returners. Shokouhizadeh (Huskvarna, Sweden), a 66" guard/forward, averaged 10 points per game to go with five rebounds per contest while shooting better than 45% from the three-point line at Moberly last season. He played his freshman campaign at Howard College where he helped his team to the NJCAA National Finals. "Iman gives us a tall wing with experience and exceptional ability to shoot the basketball," said Flaska. "He is a fundamentally solid basketball player who I consider to be a diamond in the rough for us." Shokouhizadeh joins Chase Adams (Baltimore, Md.), Jerrald Bonham (Plano, Texas), Lance Hill (Houston, Texas), Nick Stallings (New Orleans, La.), and Xabi Zusperreguy (Paris, France) as the newcomers for the upcoming season which begins on November 11th.
