"Every time she came to the house she would say I love you, I want to take care of you and I thought she would, I trusted her," admitted Euna Dement. Those are the words that haunt Euna Dement. The 76 year old woman was a victim of a scam, one that left her without $90,000. "They were supposed to take care of me and pay my bills." Jeanette and Tommy Tidwell didnt do that instead they allegedly sold some of her property and then wrote a couple of checks to themselves, after gaining power of attorney. "I had a trailer in the yard, I told her it wasn`t presentable and it would take too much money to get it fixed up for them to rent. They didn`t use their money on me, it was on themselves," commented Dement. The Tidwell`s were long time friends of Dement at least that is what she thought. When she found out what happened she just couldn`t believe it. "It was very disturbing and depressed, it was all uncalled for." Now she is calling a Bossier City nursing home her home and admits she and the world has changed. "I`m going to be careful, you just can`t trust everybody the way this world is these days and time," explained Dement.
