LANCE BERKMAN WAS THE ONLY HOUSTON ASTRO ON THE ALL-STAR ROSTER. THAT WAS BEFORE TODAY WHEN PITCHER ROY OSWALT WAS ADDED TO REPLACE METS PITCHER PEDRO MARTINEZ. MARTINEZ WAS PUT ON THE 15 DAY DL WITH A SORE HIP. IT`LL BE OSWALT`S SECOND CONSECUTIVE ALL-STAR APPEARANCE. THE RIGHT HANDER PITCHED ONE INNING IN LAST YEAR`S GAME IN DETROIT. HE CURRENTLY RANKS SIXTH IN THE NL WITH A 3.10 ERA.
