AFL2 Office Wants to Speak to Battle Wings About Comment

THE AFL2 LEAGUE OFFICE WANTS TO HEAR FROM THE BATTLE WINGS AND HEAD COACH JOHN FOURCADE. ON MONDAY THE COACH WAS SPEAKING TO HIS PLAYERS WHEN HE SAID "I SAW SOME GUYS PLAY THAT GAME THE OTHER NIGHT STONED." FOURCADE WAS REFERRING TO THE STOCKTON GAME LAST SATURDAY NIGHT. THERE IS AN AFL2 DRUG POLICY, HOWEVER, THE OFFICE DOES NOT COMMENT ON ITS SPECIFICS. MEDIA RELATIONS DIRECTOR MARK LESTINSKY STATED THAT TO HIS KNOWLEDGE, "THIS IS THE FIRST INCIDENT OF `2006 WHERE POSSIBLE BEHAVIOR TRANSGRESSIONS MIGHT HAVE OCCURRED." LEAGUE OPS MANAGER SCOTT WENZEL HAS ASKED FOURCADE TO SUBMIT A WRITTEN STATEMENT ABOUT WHAT HE KNOWS. THE COACH DIDN`T ANSWER QUESTIONS AT PRACTICE TODAY.
