Sports 8-Game Winning Streak Ended

The Shreveport Sports had their eight game winning streak snapped Friday at Fair Grounds Field, losing to the St. Joe Blacksnakes 9-3. St. Joe scored three runs in the fourth inning to take the lead for good and added single runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Shreveport gave up 17 hits, the most in any game this season and committed a season high three errors in the loss. Second game of the three-game series Saturday at Fair Grounds Field. Game time 7:05pm with the game to be broadcast on KRMD-AM and on the internet at www.supertalk1340.com.
