HOGS AND TROJANS SLATED FOR 7:45 P.M. CENTRAL IN 2006 SEASON OPENER

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas will kick off the 2006 season with a 7:45 p.m. CT game against Southern California on ESPN it was announced by the network and the Southeastern Conference on Thursday. The battle between the Hogs and the Trojans is part of an eight-game early-season schedule on ESPN. The game will be the second game of a doubleheader that also features Cal at Tennessee earlier in the day. The USC game is one of three Arkansas games already slated for television next season. The Razorbacks non-conference game with Louisiana-Monroe on Oct. 28 in Little Rock, Ark., will be televised by ESPNU. The network hasnt announced a time for the game to be held at War Memorial Stadium. Arkansas season finale against LSU will once again be televised on the Friday after Thanksgiving by CBS Sports at 1:30 p.m. CT.
