Man Found On School Property Died From Gunshot

Preliminary autopsy results on the body of a man found near G. K. Foster Elementary School on January 16th show the man died as a result of a gunshot wound. Tonny Ray Norris, 32 of Longview, was shot once in the head and his body was found near a driveway that is used for visitors and buses to the school. A toxicology report is still pending. The case remains under investigation and anyone with information is still asked to call the Longview Police Department at 903.237.1110 or Gregg County Crime Stoppers at 903.236.STOP.
