Shreveport Man Arrested in Connection with Two Separate Crimes

Willis Gipson of Shreveport is in custody, charged wtih aggravated burglary in an April 28th incident. Rita Russell came home that night to allegedly find Gipson and another man in her home, she said Gipson was hiding behind the door with a shotgun. She fled to a nearby home and called police, they arrived to find the home ransacked. The gun was later found and linked to a shooting that happened 2 days earlier. Gipson has been charged with aggravated assault and simple battery in connection with that incident.
