Updated: January 7, 2009
For the second time in three days, Shreveport Police are searching Grimmett Drive for answers in a shooting. Detectives say Richard Baker and Wadelen Sumlin both live in Shreveport and are now both wanted in connection to what happened Friday night in the 2100 block of Grimmett. The call came in about 7:45. Two people were hit. One was shot in the chest, the other was razed by a bullet. Both had to be taken to LSU Medical Center. Their injuries are being described as non life threatening. Investigators don`t yet know what led to the shooting. Once captured, Baker and Sumlin will likely face attempted second degree murder charges. If you`ve seen Richard Baker or Wadelen Sumlin call crimestoppers at 673-7373.
