A public cry for help came last week after a rash of burglaries in Texarkana and the surrounding areas. Investigators have been working to figure out who took safes and nearly 200,000 dollars from area businesses and liquor stores. Now four men are in custody, three from dallas and one from New Boston, Texas. They are each charged with burglary of a building. Why just one count? The evidence, it supports a burglary reported at the Highway 82 Liquor Store in Garland, Arkansas, Monday night. A routine traffic stop near a place where some empty safes were found in Bowie County lead to money bags and items that were used in a break-in. The suspects could face federal charges, if they are tied to other burglaries in the state of Texas. Federal Investigators are already helping with the case.
