Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle Now Identified

The man left injured on the side of a Bossier City Road is now identified. Authorities say 21-year-old Robert Gerald Bayles is listed in Fair condition following Monday`s accident. It happened on Jimmie Davis Highway, east of the bridge. Police say Bayles was walking in the middle of the eastbound lane of the highway when he was struck. According to Bossier City Spokesperson, Mark Natale, the accident was unavoidable. The driver was not cited.
