It's taken 43 years, but this weekend the New Orleans Saints are trading Mardi Gras for the Super Bowl Mambo. Hundreds of thousands of people have taken over the "who dat" nation. No it's not Miami, but it's the place to be.
"They got a bunch of people here thatis just so hyped up, it has been years and the saints finally got to the super bowl area, if they win the super bowl look out" Joshua Penwright says.
From Bourbon Street to Canal the black and gold are bold.
"We wear it proudly for the saints" says Chelsea Hebert. The city of New Orleans is alive. The parades roll on and the party is just getting started with hearts and minds in one accord, behind a team ready to march in.
