Oklahoma's Health Department Urges Residents to Get H1N1 Vaccine

(Oklahoma City) -- No new deaths have been reported from the H1N1 flu strain in Oklahoma, but state health officials dont want people to let their guard down, especially since the peak flu season is just now beginning, and H1N1, as the pandemic it is, could hit more frequently again this spring.
Larry Weatherford, speaking for the State Health Department, says there are ample supplies of H1N1 and seasonal vaccine available, and while good hygiene is a wise move against the flu, the best defense is the shot.
