Drug Charges Dropped Against 33

By: Import User
Updated: February 5, 2007
33 Harrison County residents arrested in October on Halloween night on drug trafficking charges are back on the streets today. Marshall Criminal District Attorney Joe Black told KTAL that because of false information provided by a police informant he was forced to dismiss their cases. Tuesday authorities made the arrest of forty five year old Timothy Holland on two charges of providing false information to an officer. While acting as an informant, Holland also skimmed money from the police and sheriffs department that they had given him to buy illegal narcotics. Black says Holland could also be charged with tampering with a government document.
