The man accused of killing four police officers in Washington State is dead after and intensive three day manhunt.
Authorities had taken more than 300 tips on where Murice Clemmons could be hiding but it was an officer on routine patrol who found him.
The officer first found what he thought was a stolen car.
When he investigated he was approached by the man he recognized as Clemmons.
Detectives say Clemmons had a gun that belonged to one of the officers killed on Sunday.
Today they are investigating where Clemmons had been for the last two days and who has been helping him.
Police arrested three people for providing cell phones and money to the suspect.
They expect to arrest three or four more in the coming weeks.
After two days of mourning, the city and the police chief are hoping for closure.
Part of that healing process includes a memorial for the four fallen officers in the coming days.
