Violent Shooting on MLK

Shreveport Police are on the lookout for one or more armed suspects responsible for a shooting on Willie Mays Street off MLK drive at approximately 8pm Monday night. In total twenty shots were fired at a car. After being struck by some of the gunfire the driver of the car was able to get away but only a few blocks where his car slammed into a tree on Legardy Street. The driver was then taken to a local hospital after police arrived.
