Ft. Polk Leaders Watching Closely

FORT POLK, La. - The Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk Public Affairs Office has issued the following statement: We are closely monitoring the situation at Fort Hood, Texas, along with our sister installations. Fort Polk will continue to monitor its security situation and will take appropriate precautions as required to protect those who work and live on Fort Polk. The installation is not locked down, but we will remain prudent in executing our installation security measures. Our thoughts and prayers go out to our fellow Soldiers and their Families at Fort Hood.
