PARISH ROADS UPDATES: (updated 1:20 A.M.) 11/02/09 NOTE: LA 2 FROM SAREPTA TO SHONGALOO NOW OPEN! HWY. 157 IS NOW OPEN! LA 157, NORTH OF SHONGALOO, BETWEEN ITS JUNCTION OF LA 159 AND ITS JUNCTION OF US 371 IN SPRINGHILL IS NOT OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC. NOTE: HIGH WATER REPORTED AT WEST BOUND EXIT RAMP AT 1-20 / DIXIE INN; EAST BOUND ENTRANCE AT 1-20 / DIXIE INN CLOSURES: Hwy. 164 from Sibley to Doyline Fuller Road North at Hwy. 371 Hwy. 160 due to flooding and washout Sand Hill Road (East end) is washed out Redbud Road Doc Steed north of Rice Road Allan Drive A Number of Parish Access Roads to the Lake Bistineau area are now flooding or impassible (South Sibley/Heflin and Doyline areas). Expect high and rising waters when traveling those access roads. Some areas restricted to residents only.
