Ecstasy On The Rise In Shreveport

After seizing more than forty thousand dollars in ecstasy tablets from the home of Thaddeus Pugh earlier this week police and narcotics units are expecting more busts like this one in the near future. Lt. Kevin Dunn told us that Ecstasy has become just as popular as Meth. Focussing their efforts on trying to catch those bringing the drug into Shreveport the police say it`s a difficult task because most users ages range from as young 13 to as old as someone in their forties. Narcotics investigators do say that this weeks major bust did put a dent in the Ecstasy ring in shreveport.
