16-year-old charged with armed burglary

16-year-old Juan Gibson has been arrested and charged with armed burglary and grand theft of a firearm after he was caught carrying a golf bag with 13 stolen guns.

 

A Riviera Beach, Florida police officer saw two young men getting off a Palm Tran bus around 11:30 Thursday morning.

 

The two suspects were carrying two covered golf bags.

 

Both suspects fled from the officer.

 

Juan Gibson was detained and the officer recovered the golf bags that contained 13 rifles & shotguns.

 

Gibson was interviewed and stated he had burglarized his former neighbor's house and knew the firearms were there.

 

The victim responded and identified his rifles and shotguns.

All of his property was recovered.
