College Told To Slash Budget

All Arkansas state agencies have been ordered to make cuts due to a multi-million dollar budget shortfall.  The bad economy finally catching up with The Natural State.  College administrators have implemented a hiring freeze and banned the purchase of new equipment unless it's essential to classroom instruction.  Students we talked to were disappointed to hear of cuts.  Hope is seeing record enrollment numbers this semester, the highest in 11 years.  Educators say they are hopeful no additional cuts will be necessary.
