Two Kids Believed Abducted From School In Cecilia

(Cecilia) - Louisiana State Police issued an AMBER Alert today after two children were allegedly abducted from an elementary school in Cecilia, located about 45 miles west of Baton Rouge. The incident took place at Teche Elementary School. The children, both black, are identified as eleven-year-old Demond Winfrey and ten-year-old Demonte Winfrey. Both were wearing red Polo shirts and navy pants. They were allegedly taken from the school around 7:30 this morning by their non-custodial mother, 31-year-old Laquita Mathis, also known as Laquita Winfrey or Kimberly Bosley. She is a black female with spikey hair, five-foot-seven-inches and weighing about 135 pounds. When last seen she was driving a white mid-size sedan and possibly headed toward Texas.
