Some shortages are being reported of seasonal flu vaccines at two of the nations largest drugstore chains.
"Bloomberg.com" reports CVS and Walgreens are having problems keeping supplies of the vaccines in two areas of the U.S.
CVS MinuteClinics in Austin, Texas, and New York ran out of the vaccine within the past week before restocking.
Eight Walgreens stores in Manhattan were out of the vaccine earlier this week.
A Walgreens spokesman says there are also shortages in the South and Southeastern U.S.
The drugstore chain says their clinics have already administered twice as many doses of the flu vaccine in September as they did during the entire 2008 flu season.
