On Monday, Shreveport Mayor, Cedric Glover will travel to China. He'll meet with Chinese officials to discuss the acquisition of the Hummer brand.

Mayor Glover says he's going to deliver the message that Shreveport has a well-trained workforce in an effort to keep Hummer production at the Shreveport plant.

Glover will also travel to Washington, D.C., where he'll meet with GM's Vice President of Global Manufacturing and Labor Relations to discuss the future of the Shreveport GM facility.
