Bossier City Jail Inmate Tries to Escape

A Bossier City jail inmate remains in the hospital in serious condition. Authorities say 45-year-old Claude James injured himself after jumping from a moving transport van on Saturday morning on Highway 3, just north of Benton, LA. James was being transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility with other inmates when he made the jump. James now faces a slew of charges inlcluding simple escape.
