Domestic Dispute Turns Deadly

A Sunday morning domestic dispute turned deadly in Shreveport. A shooting broke out around two in the 3000 block of Curtis Lane. Officers found 38-year-old Toccoa Morris with a gunshot wound to the upper body. Morris was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. Investigators arrested 53-year-old Samuel Shedrick. Detectives believe Shedrick was romantically involved with the victim and killed her during a dispute. Hes booked on one count of second degree murder.
