The crash happened this weekend on Cass County Road 4559.  Witnesses say Lauren Bylerly and Ashlea Boyter were riding a four-wheeler when it collided with a tractor-trailer.  Both girls were thrown from the vehicle and critically injured.  Now classmates of the girls are taking collections to help the families during this crisis.  Friends of the injured girls also created a Facebook page and decorated their lockers with pictures and well wishes.

Boyter is in ICU at St. Michael's Hospital in Texarkana.  Bylerly is being treated at LSU Hospital in Shreveport.  Both suffered head injuries during the crash.
