A Minneapolis, Minnesota woman is facing animal cruelty charges after kicking a seeing-eye dog as she exited a Target store.

Lolly Lijewski was entering the store with her dog Brook when the woman passed by and caught Brook with a swift kick.

Lijewski says she felt Brook recoil, but had no idea what had happened.

A witness told her about the kick and helped her give a description to police, who found the woman who had kicked Brook nearby.

The woman offered no explanation for the kick, but Lijewski says she believes she was intoxicated at the time.
