16 High School Students Stand-Out

High School seniors from the ArkLaTex are being recognized for their high test scores.

Sixteen from the Shreveport-Bossier area have been named National Merit Semi-finalists. 12 of them are from Caddo Magnet High School, two from Captain Shreve High School, two from Airline High School and one homeschooled student.

To qualify, students take the practice SAT as juniors and the top one-percent in the nation are recognized. The finalists will be announced in February.
