Bowie County Deputy Injured in Morning Crash

Lt. Todd Fore was was traveling on Summerhill Rd. when police say a northbound vehicle ran a red light and broadsided Fore's patrol car.  Fore, who was seriously injured say officers on scene, had to have his bullet proof vest cut off.  The driver side of Fore's patrol was heavily damaged in the crash.  The extent of the deputys injuries and and that of the other driver are unknown at this time.  Both were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
