Hunters Flock to La For Tax Holiday

It's the first of its kind, a tax holiday for hunters. During the Labor Day weekend everything hunting related is tax free in Louisiana. Boats, guns, ammo, knives, clothing, and anything you can think of to use for hunting is tax free. State legislators made the tax free weekend for hunting equipment annual starting this year. The hope is it will boost a weak economy. Not coincedently is the fact hunting season starts in November. Hunting supply store owners predict they will see heavy sales. Shoppers from the entire four states region say they plan to head to Louisiana and take advantage of tax free hunting supplies this weekend.
