Burned Body Still Under Investigation

Caddo Parish Sheriff`s Deputies continue their investigation of an apparent homicide, after the discovery of a man`s body Friday night.
It was found inside a burning vehicle parked on Meadow Lane in West Shreveport.
A person on a neighboring street saw flames and called 911.
When the fire department arrived they found the body and notified authorities, who are looking for the people who did this.
Caddo deputies are investigation because of the crimescene location.
The victim suffered a head injury of some sort but the coroner will determined how he died.
The detectives were back at the scene Saturday to look for evidence they might have missed.
They are working to track ownership of the truck and believe it was sold recently to someone in the West Shreveport neighborhood.
Deputies are also looking for a blue four door vehicle with white ground effects. A witness placed the car near the pickup just before it was found burning.
