Brandon Robertson killed Burns in May 2008.  Police say Petrick helped Robertson avoid capture.  Petrick was sentenced to 7 years in prison as part of a negotiated plea deal.  Outside the courtroom Petrick's family said she was also a victim.

Her mother said Petrick was held hostage by Robertson at gunpoint.  Burns' brother and widow said they didn't believe it.  Burns' widow also said their family are the real victims in this terrible tragedy.

Paula Tucker is still awaiting trial in this case.  She faces a single felony count of hindering apprehension.
