Alamo Jury Sent Home Without Verdict

Defense attorneys say the fact that jurors didn't render a verdict Thursday means they are being very thorough in their deliberations. Alamo is on trial for allegedly transporting underage girls across state lines for sex.
Earlier Thursday there was a flurry of activity from the jury, which sent the judge a note with three questions about the case. Alamo's defense team wouldn't say what the questions were, but tell KTAL the panel wanted a clarification of the law.
Said Alamo defens attorney Phillip Kuhn, "I never try to anticipate what the jury is thinking. It just shows we got a pretty consciencious jury." Jury deliberations will resume Friday morning at 8:30 A.M.
