Television honors its best every year with the Emmy awards.
This morning, we found out who's up for what at this year's show.
After winning its second straight Emmy as Best Comedy last year, NBC's "30 Rock" dominated this morning's Emmy awards nominations in Los Angeles, leading the way with 22. It's up for Best Comedy, while series stars Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin are in the mix for acting honors.
NBC's "The Office" is also in the hunt for Best Comedy, along with "Entourage" and "Flight of the Conchords" from HBO. The rest of the field includes CBS's "How I Met your Mother", Showtime's "Weeds" and Fox's "Family Guy", that show is the first animated comedy to be nominated since "The Flintstones" back in 1961.
The cable drama "Mad Men" has a chance to make it two wins in a row for Best Drama, series star Jon Hamm's nominated as Best Actor and Elisabeth Moss for Best Actress. The show's best drama competition includes fellow AMC series "Breaking Bad". There's also "Big Love" from HBO, the legal drama "Damages" from FX, Showtime's serial killer saga "Dexter," Fox's medical drama "House" and the ABC adventure series "Lost."
The awards will be handed out September 13th in Los Angeles.
