Shreveport police responded to a robbery on Shreveport-Barksdale highway Monday morning. Authorities say a black male forced his way into the Picadilly restaurant's front door. A second suspect reportedly came in right behind him and had the manager open the cash register. Police say the suspects ttook the manager back to the safe where they grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash. Before the suspects took off, police say the manager was locked in a cooler. "Once we got on the scene they were already gone from the scene. At this time we are finger printing the areas that they disturbed." Police tell us the manager used his cell phone to call them while he was trapped in the cooler.
